Ewha Center for Vaccine Evaluation & Safety performs vaccine research and evaluates vaccine efficacy. The Center is widely recognized in the world, and has been selected as one of the 6 special laboratories participating in the vaccine evaluation research for Pneumococcus designated by the FDA in USA.

The center is well known for active participation in the research of Korea Food & Drug Administration and Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, carrying out many vaccine related-basic science experiments and research in infectious diseases.
